Hip, Hip, Hippopotamus

This video was taken in the hospital room yesterday. I happened to have my little digital camera with me as we were trying to pass the time. Iliya LOVES this song, and I was so happy to catch it on video. It’s difficult to hear, so I’ll post the lyrics – and then you can watch the video (but turn your volume up so you can hear bits & pieces). It’s pretty sweet.

In the beginning, God made the sea,
And the forest filled with trees,
And the mountain peaks so high.
And at the top, he placed the sky.

Fingerprints are everywhere,
Just to show how much He cares.
And in the middle, He had some fun,
When He made the hippo & it weighed a ton!

Hip, Hip, Hip, Hippopotamus!
Hip, Hip, Hooray, God made all of us!
Hip, Hip, Hip, Hippopotamus!
Hip, Hip, Hooray, God made all of us!

JennyM - So sweet! Thanks for sharing. Glad to hear everything went well with your little one’s surgery. It must have been so hard to wait while he had surgery. Sounds like the experience went pretty well, though. JennyM

I am so glad I know his Mom and Dad to know he is as normal as they get… Nathan I mean. smile You two make great parents and I am so glad He has you two, and you have him. Old DAN AND Little ANN - That was so cute. I don’t know if Dan knows motions to any song! Now I’m curious. Iilya in his gown is about one of the cutest things I ever saw. I’m so glad everything went well. I still am not convinced that I want to face all of that. Dima without food is plum scary! I would make sure my knee caps were covered or else he’d be chewing on them! God bless Iilya as he recovers!
